A fundamental consideration facing you as an event or party planner is event security arrangements for your function. It is a mistake to go down the road of choosing either the cheapest you could find or even taking a chance on the first security company you come across.

Select a security company whose employees have added core skills, core skills that have been tested on a daily basis, somebody whose experience derives from the likes of the emergency services.
The reasoning behind this is that not only do they have the same understanding of all aspects of security but they will be trained to a higher degree in trauma management, they will have road traffic collision knowledge, emergency response driver experience and numerous other skills that an ordinary security operative will never acquire.
If you are tasked with the organisation of an event and if you are given the option of either hiring two security operatives who are on minimum wage or hiring one guy who is initially more expensive but has all of the previously mentioned extra attributes then I would go for the single guy.
And the reason for this?
Simply put, the lone operative has a proven pedigree in professionalism and dedication to getting the job done to the highest of standards, whereas the two who are on minimum wage have no incentive to put in the same level of effort and may actually resent the task they are given.
When you start to view it in this context then you will see that you are getting the best value for your money, a great ambassador for your company, an operative who is tried and tested in exacting environments and someone who is capable of dealing with a multitude of additional scenarios. Sourcing an up and coming security company whose staff fulfill the previously mentioned criteria should satisfy the security needs of your event.
Should you choose such a company you will find them to be eager, experienced and more than capable of supplying the quality your event demands.
